What do the dogs have to do with the art and website you say?
Well aside from being absolutely adorable mascots you mean??
It all started with Hermes, who is frightfully scared of loud noises…mainly fireworks.
So one day I decided that I needed to come up with and indoor dogbed/house for him, that would somewhat insulate him from the noises and make him feel protected and cozy. And being that part of his namesake had to do with a Greek god, I figured his hide-away should be equally as grand.
So, after some figuring, I came up with the volcano “Mt O’Toophus”…lair of the Mighty Hermes!
It’s primary material is expanding spray foam, used for insulating gaps in doors and windows. However, when it came to the lava…well some epoxy and lights made it all work. And so, my first foray into the world of epoxy started with the love for a scared dog, and the epoxy lava that lit up our lives.

Welcome to the Epoxalypse Wonderland!

"Apocalypse" has come to be used popularly as a synonym for catastrophe, but the Greek word apokálypsis, from which it is derived, actually means a revelation. Likewise, other cultures believed it to mean the death of one era/cycle, and the rebirth of another new and better one from the ashes of the old.
And hence, ”Epoxalypse”Now, was our “revelation” that epoxy/wood crafts and art was something we wanted to do.
The dark theme paired with the bright yellows, oranges, and reds you find on our website, cards, and packaging…are the fire and ashes that burned away the old…and present you with the new and beautiful creation within!
